L'étudiant principal Carrie Demans de BÉLIER a été choisi en tant que qualifié aux finales pour la bourse 2008 de Google Anita Borg, qui honore des femmes en informatique et technologie. Elle voyagera à un sommet de gestion de réseau accueilli par Google à New York City ce mai.
L'étudiant Scott Bateman de PhD de BÉLIER passera l'été comme interne de recherches travaillant avec le groupe social de logiciel au centre de recherches d'IBM Watson, à Cambridge, mA.
Prof. Jim Greer et des ruisseaux de Chris d'étudiant de PhD de BÉLIER présenteront un entretien à la première conférence internationale du nouveau réseau canadien pour l'innovation dans l'éducation (CNIE) dans Banff, 29 avril. L'entretien intitulé « augmentant la rentabilité des conférences visuelles en ligne » accentuera Chris et le prof. La recherche de Greer dans la capture visuelle de salle de classe.
